Last Week in Utah

So I think it is starting to actually hit me that we are moving away from Utah this week.

When people ask me if I like Utah over Michigan it's a fairly quick response that Michigan is better. But there will be a few things I will miss:

-The family we have out here is amazing. It has been great getting to know all of them. I can't believe that Debbie won't be a 15 minute car raide away anymore. It hasn't hit me that I can't just show up there whenever and hang out with the kids.

-The mountains. They are beautiful. Especially if you sit up on a peak or go into a canyon. They really are breath-taking. It will be sad leaving them. I wish I could have both my greenery and the mountains.

-Married Friends. It will probably not happen for a few more years in Michigan since Utah tends to get married quite young. But having married friends has been nice for Landon and I. Leaving them will be a bummer, but I guess that means we can attend weddings in Michigan which is also quite fun.

-Cheaper schooling. Utah universities are so much cheaper than Michigan universities. I just hope that we keep qualifying for a bunch of pell grants and then we can finish school with out anymore student loans. (I took some out before I truly understood them, bad idea. But we should have them half way paid off by the end of the year!)

-5 minutes to Church and 15 minutes to a Temple. Utah is designed for Mormons. Everything is so close and so convenient. It's gonna be harder knowing we need to drive 30-40 minutes to church each Sunday and I believe the closest Temple is about 45 minutes away. Having them closer is such a luxury here in Utah.

I'm sure I could think of more to be grateful about here in Utah, but my tummy says it's time for breakfast and Landon would appreciate if I didn't eat while on the computer....

Have a nice rainy day!

My Bed = My New Bestfriend

I am so exhausted.

I seriously had no idea how much energy a baby takes to make. I feel like I could sleep for days only getting up for food and bathroom breaks. 1 more day of classes, 3 exams, and a 26 hour road trip. Then I can relax without any commitments for a few days at least.

Lets hope the smell of Mexican food doesn't make me sick at my new job. Oh speaking of me getting sick. Apparently the sight of prunes makes me sick. I caught a glimpse of them in the back of my pantry today when I was getting popcorn. NOT a good reaction...

Landon has been awesome though. He did some dishes today and did the laundry. Amazing and sympathetic doesn't begin to describe him. He took me to the grocery store on Tuesday when one of my classes was cancelled so I could get food I was craving. Cereal and Chicken and Apples. For some reason sweets are not really something I crave. But I LOVE popcorn and chicken. Plus the cereal is coming in use for my lazy person breakfasts.

Baby Baby Baby!

So we found out on Thursday and we are expecting our first child this December!!

We think the due date is December 11th but we are waiting till we get to Michigan to go to the Dr.'s since we will be having the baby in Michigan. It wouldn't do much for me to go to one here other than getting vitamins which I just got over the counter anyways.

Landon and I are super excited and can't wait for all the fun experiences we will have this year and all the years to follow.

It will be the first Grandbaby for our parents and the first Great-grandbaby on my dad's side of the family.

Should be lots and lots of FUN!

Again, S U P E R excited!!

Did I ever mention how super my Husband is?

Brownie, Meat Boy, Bandage Girl, and Tofu Boy

Landon has been working so hard lately on this art project. Which I guess you can say evolved into a toy project. But either way he has been working very hard, and I have been skeptical about it really going anywhere. Well let me just say my husband has proved me wrong once again...

After he launched his Voxelous website he sold out of his project in hours. We went to bed last night with basically full stock and awoke this morning to a store with just a quarter of it's stock left over. By the time we hit 12 hours after launch we had sold out of two characters and we still have like 2 of each of the last characters left.

I can't believe it. I was thinking okay maybe we will sell what we have, but we have hit a way higher demand than ever expected! We are ordering more ASAP and will be selling more when they come in but it's going to be another 2-3 weeks till we can do that!

What a month April is going to be!!

In the end I must say I have quite an amazing Husband because despite people not being sure about this idea he stuck with it. Let's just hope we can handle the demand and show his customers how much he really loves their support!
